Sbs Challenge

Sorry for the delay, I did say that I would post this the other day. Had one thing & another going on & forgot all about it.... but here at last is what I made for our very first challenge. As I'm such a Glenda fan I used everything Glenda in this card, apart from the odd word & a feather or to.

Another page for my BIA book

This page has a retro feel about it which I really liked, I used fab stamps from both Paper Artsy & RubbaDubbaDoo to make this page along with red & black ink pads & a plain black domino tile stamped & embossed in white. I'm so pleased with the way in turned out.. although I don't feel the camera has made the page look it's best :o(

Geisha shaker

Made this fat page yesterday. I'd brought a kit that had gel shakers in it in different shapes.... I took a round one & added a stamped image I had of a geisha girl be hide the shaker while the front part was stamped using an oriental stamp inked in red, then I cut a round aperture to fit the shaker & added 2 gold fan embellishments just to finish it of, I then stuck it to mount board for strength.

Canvas project

After seeing someone selling 6"x 6" canvases on an auction site I decided to buy them & have a bash at doing some wall art... they arrived a few days later but I wasn't sure once I'd got them quite what to put on the first one, so it hung around for a week before I picked up a brush & painted the background. (the first picture is all the thing I used)

I then went on the hunt around my craft room looking for things that would make a great pic & remembered I just brought a pack of chipboard shapes that had paisley shapes in them, which I love at the moment & they made there way on to the dried paint after I'd decorated them in the colours I liked.

A bit about me before I forget

Hi to everyone in the sisterhood, I'm Jenny 38 years old, have lived with my partner David for 21 years & have been his carer for 17 of them, after a RTA left him paralysed. Have no children but 3 fab dogs, been into card making for about 12 years, which has led to me crafting more than just cards, with rubber stamping being my biggerst love & was the first crafty thing I ever done.
