Distress Ink storage

Finally took delivery of my storage box for the Distress ink pads, very lovely it is too & may I also add well made by a very talented man called Rod. It's just now in need of a full make over, which I hope will happen over the next week.. or 2. Need first to go get some paint, thinkin along the lines of grunge type look, after all Distress ink aren't gunna wanna live in anything else really :D mmm might do some stamping too,I do love to stamp ya know. Well here it is all new & bare... really should've put a censore over it, tee hee.

A rare thing

Don't craft like I use to, but here are two very rare examples I made this week. My insperations came from the brilliant Sue Wilson & Barbara gray... So a big thank you to them both for the help, even if it was only via the TV xx

Brayer, ink & a bit Of Tim.

I've had some great fun getting very inked up using items from the Tim Holtz TSV kit, making what at the moment I guess you can call it ATC, but I never intended for it to be one. Still undecided whether to make a card with it or leave it as is. The favourite part of this piece for me is the frame, which I used distress inks, applied sepia accents then taking a paint brush tapped in to the still wet accents gold mica powder. Oh BTW I first used my nesties to get the frame :)
The other 3 cards have all been made using techniques used by the fab Barbara Gray.... Don't know if crafters should love all their creations or have favourites, but my fav from these 3 has to be the wilderness one which I made before Christmas, decided I wanted to put it up here & show it off, lol.

OMG I've a blog, lol

Not to good at keeping up to date with this blogging thing.... wish I was.. well never mind I'm here now even if it's only with a few pics. I've not been doing much of the craft thing either sadly, what with one thing & another & doing a dog grooming course, which btw I passed, yeah.
I've still happily found the time to watch a few of my fav craft hours on the telly featuring Sheena, Barbara & Tim, as always I'm left wanting all I've seen, lol.

A couple of spooky cards that I made for Halloween..... well the bottom one isn't a card at the moment, not sure yet if I'm going to make it into a wall art & hang it in me craft room.

Here's one I baked earlier, lol. Have really enjoyed making these 'quickish' cards, has help me back into crafting, but I couldn't just pop & stick.. oh no I had to add just that bit extra in the form of liquid pearl & glitter :)
